Does anyone own one? How are they, do they have the top bolt release? How is the stock?

I owned the 7mm Mag--shot really well for me with the 168gr Berger HSM load. I think the bolt release is in the front of the trigger guard if I remember correctly.

Stock is the Accustock model, which is a nice setup for factory configuration, and along with the cheek piece, I think Savage hit it out of the park for the price point.

Overall opinion: This is NOT a custom gun, by any means, but for a factory setup at that price, it's hard to beat. I was pleased with the 7mm mag I had.

I have the exact model in .300 wsm and would not trade it for anything. Shoots sub-MOA if I do my part. You will not regret buying it!
