I just got H1000 for $43/lb in 1# bottles from my LGS 2 weeks ago. Not sure why it was that cheap but I didn't argue.

That's a great deal, especially now. My LGS was selling H4350 and Varget at $60/lb - I assume H1000 would be the same

I am going to try another one tomorrow. I have bought 12 lbs of Retumbo from them since July. Hopefully they will have 8 lbs bottles. The last retumbo I bought at this one was $48/lbs

I am thinking so. My LGS was $60/lb... I am hoping that the craze settles down some and the market corrects and the price drops - but I am not certain that will happen.
