Rekindled my interest in pistol shooting, 1911s, and found a great lube, Gun Butter. The stuff runs like an oil, but lubes like a grease. You may have heard of it. Should work great on ARs, bolts, any caming or sliding surfaces. They also make a bolt grease, which I have on order. This product is used by well known comp. shooters. It may work for you too.
