Mike,

as soon as you get the truck, switch the oil over to 10W-30! You'll loose about one mpg, but the motor will do better. If you can find a synthetic in that weight range your better off.

Hey Mike,
I have an 05 Chevy Duramax and love it. Getting 14 to 19 mpg depending on the situation. **** thing gelled this morning. We have been COLD here in Idaho Falls.
