I bought this in late February of this site. The guy advertised it as a 2019 GAP Team rifle in mint shape with low round count l. That was not what I got. He totally lied out his behind. Partially my fault as I didn't do my due diligence. I took him at his word like I do everyone else on this site as it's built on honesty and I've never had a bad experience. This gun was built in 2014 according to Gap. Full gap custom build. Build specs are

1. Templar Action
2. Bartlein 1-8 finished at 26 with brake. Sendero contour style at least. Don't know brand of brake but I believe it's a badger.
3.Manners stock, flush cups left side and rail on bottom.
4. Jewel trigger
5. 5 round AI mag and I don't know the brand of bottom metal.
6. Cerakoted

Bunch of reloading stuff, brass, loaded rounds and dies. Mostly looking to sell but may accept some trades. Rifle is great shape but I don't know the round count. Finish is excellent stock has a few minor dings. $2500 and I will throw in $50 and a hard case for shipping. Thanks for looking. Trade interests include

I shot 12 rounds of factory Hornady match ammo through this rifle. Shot at or below 1/2 Moa at 100 yards. Super nice rifle just not what I thought I was buying. Thanks for looking

I'm guessing the part where the original seller told him this was a 2019 GAP team rifle and turns out it was built in 2014 like post says?

There's no mention of the year of manufacture in the original seller's post.

GAP did their Team rifles before 2019, I got one in 2016 and I think they had them the year before. I can't tell from the pics how close it is to mine, but mine has the Templar 2 (Defiance Devant) action, a different muzzle brake and came with 1:7.7 twist barrel in GAP #6 profile (in between heavy Palma and Varmint). Since he got info from GAP on the rifle, presumably they could tell him whether it was/was not a "Team Rifle," and it sound like they told him it was not.

Not a good sales technique to say bad things about something and then say "buy this." His bad experience has nothing to do with the sale. Just describe the item you're selling and the price. The rest is just unproductive bitching. Look how the bitching diluted the thread. People were more interested in discussing the lying than discussing the sale - not good sales technique.

I was being totally honest unlike the guy who sold me the rifle. I didn't want anyone to be unsatisfied when they got the rifle.
