It's gloss, duplex reticle, and has been mounted. You can see the ringmarks in the photo. The glass is great, no scratches, etc.

I believe this is a late model Vari-X III as it has the click adjustments and the lenses have a greenish tint, indicating multicoat-4 lens coatings.
