SOLD/EXPIRED FS Swarovski Gen I, Z6i, 5-30x50 BT*****SOLD******

Have a Swarovski Gen I, Z6i, 4ai, 5-30x50 BT for sale. Scope is in very good condition, glass is perfect, only signs of use are some super faint marks where the rings came together and you have to look to find them. Tried to get them to show up on the pics I took but I don't think they're visible in the pics.

Scope comes with the factory box, warranty registration card, Bikini Lens covers, the large turret cover which carries the spare battery, key ring with the Swarovski BT/battery cover tool, various manuals and whatever else they sent with it.

Any questions please shoot me a PM. I have it listed on Ebay as well and as long as there are no bids there I'll sell it here and close their auction. Had a time line to list a few items there on a special rate that was rapidly running out.. like today! :lol:

Suggested selling price appears to be $3700+ for the comparable Gen II model. These were $3400+ when I bought it. Asking price is $2600 plus $30 for shipping and insurance in the lower 48. Prefer to limit sales to the USA at this time.

Is the Z6 limited to about 13 minutes of elevation adjustment like the Z5?

It will be 21.6 minutes at 100 yards.

Also your estimate of 13 minutes of elevation for the z5 is way off. No idea where you may have found that but it is not even close. From what I see in their specs it is 29 minutes of elevation.

Something I did forget to include in the original post is that for those not familiar with the Swarovski BT they have a very well designed zero stop that works great and doesn't involve double sided tape like one of the top shelf US made models does!

I have a Z5 3.5-18. It is a great scope but the BT only has about 13 minutes of adjustment once you establish a zero and set the zero stop. I'm interested in the Z6 but have some concerns about max range if it has the same BT setup

Think I'm following you but not sure. Are you reaching the max on the inside of the scope or is the dial running out of clicks (if that makes sense). It sounds like the scope is not aligned to the center of the POI and in order to sight it in you're having to come up a pretty fair amount thus using your remaining inches of elevation to get zero. You might consider the Burris Signatures which have the degreed inserts that let you adjust the scope in the rings to point downward more in your case letting the zero get closer to the center of the scope or maybe even below it if you need more height. I had a similar problem with a Winchester Model 70 some years back and cured it with the inserts.

BTW had one of the first z5 3-18s and really liked it as well. Had it been illuminated I would have been happy with it and not gone to the Z6. Thus I see why Swarovski doesn't offer illumination in that series! The z5 is a really nice package.
