Safarihunter, you might want to research your price for a used Remington action. We have complete rifles selling for that or less in the Mid-West. Only an observation and a thought.

You may want to research the demand for pre prefix Remington short actions.

I am well aware roughly finished Rem ADL and SPS rifles and actions are available for less money all the time. I am not offering to that crowd.
