Up for sale is a reasonably new (purchased July 2011) Pentax Lightseeker30 6x24 50mm scope.
30mm tube - Balistic-plex reticle - 1/8 MOA - incl. 3" sun shade
This is the twin brother of the Burris Black Diamond 6x24 50mm (yes - Burris and Pentax are one-in-the-same). This is a great scope but I have sold the rifle and am building an F Class target rifle and will be going with a fixed 36x power (Either Sightron or Weaver) - so this one has no home (and I want to use it to finance the new scope - you married fellas understand me ;D). Scope is excellent all round and has only the faintest of ring marks. Glass and function are perfect and like brand new. I'm looking for $550 $525 shipped in it's original box to you. Burris Black Diamond retails for $799 (OpticsPlanet) and the Pentax LS30 retails for $719 (OpticsPlanet).

I agree. If I had a rifle for it (and no wifey), I'd keep it. But sold the rifle and I'd rather get something for it than just keep it hanging around. I always liked how bright the Burris scopes were and the Pentax is everybit its equal and then some....

It's gonna make a nice scope for some one (that or it'll go to ebay where I'll end up selling it for more and making a bit less).
