I have a like new Cooper model 54 'Jackson Excalibur.' The Jackson Excalibur is a special run for 1st Stop Guns in Rapid City, SD. Basically, it's an Excal with the Jackson hunter stock and a stainless barrel.
The model 54's usually come with a thin barrel, so I paid to have it upgraded to the 52 contour (similar to a #4). Also, they come standard with a 1:10 twist, but that was upgraded as well to a 1:8 to run the 105-class bullets. The aforementioned upgrades add $275 to the base cost of the rifle linked below. I have about $2,550 into it.

Some specs:
Cal: .243 AI
Barrel length: 24"
Barrel Twist: 1:8
Rifle weight: 7 lbs, 2 oz

Other than the fact it has been shot, the rifle is basically new; I cant find a flaw on it.
It is identical to the rifle linked below, except for caliber and action length:

I would like $2250 shipped to your FFL. Will include everything that came with it from Cooper as well as 50 pcs of fire formed Lapua brass. USPS MO works best. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.

It shoots like you would expect from a Cooper. What little load development I did, the rifle shows real promise. Some details below.

3 @ 415 yds, 105 Berger Hunting VLD and H4831sc (group was shot with a 12 MPH quartering wind)

Plenty of room in the mag with a 105 hybrid loaded to the lands and the bullet doesn't impede on usable case volume

I also did a velocity ladder with the new Reloder 26 and 105 hybrids. Stopped at Berger's max load data and velocity peaked at 3315 fps and still wasn't seeing pressure signs.

Would be happy to share any and all load details with the buyer.
