I have an AR15 Performance 5.56x42 barrel with bolt for sale. This uses 6.8 SPC brass which is necked down and trimmed back so that it fits in a magazine loaded with a 75 grain A-max or other longer, higher BC .224 bullet. The barrel has a 1-8 twist to it and is threaded 5/8x24. I was using the Hornady 75 grain A-max and CFE powder and was getting 3100 fps with 0.5 MOA accuracy with this barrel with mag fed rounds. This round has better performance than the 224 Valkyrie and the parent brass 6.8 SPC is abundant and will be around forever. Included will be the following items
- 5.56x42 AR15 Performance barrel, 1-8 twist, 20" finish length, melonite coated, threaded 5/8 x 24 with 250 rounds down the tube
- AR15 Performance 6.8 SPC bolt fitted for the barrel by AR15 Performance
- 90 new unfired Nosler 6.8 SPC brass, necked down, neck-turned, trimmed and ready to fire
- 150 1x fired Nosler 6.8 SPC brass, necked down, neck-turned, trimmed and ready to fire
- 50 2x fired Nosler 6.8 SPC brass, necked down, neck-turned, trimmed, and ready to fire
- 2 6.8 SPC 10 round magazines
- 1 6.8 SPC 25 round magazine
- Forster 22 PPC reloading die set for necking down brass. 22 PPC seater die works great for seating bullets
- Redding 6.8 SPC type S bushing FL die with 0.247 titanium nitride bushing. Works perfect as a sizing die!
