Will this fit a Borden Mountaineer SA or are Foundation stocks cut SO exactly to a specific action that another one won't work?

I would say call foundation for exact answer but I imagine it will. The Bolt handle slot is the biggest difference between most action.

I spoke with John-Kyle this morning and it was snowing there so may not be shooting tomorrow.....

Borden Mountaineer will not be a fit for this stock. Per John-Kyle, Mountsineers are machined to 1.360 OD. and standard 700 and clones is 1.350.OD. Would it fit in there? Yes, probably but like it should and would not shoot as good as a perfectly matched radius. Foundation cuts their stocks to very exacting tolerances.
