Just curious what others have done to elevate meat above ice in coolers. Just seeing if someone has a clever tactic or item they have built or purchased to keep meat out of the water and dry.
We normally place a piece of heavy plastic over ice blocks. We keep the lid cracked open to let air circulate also. If we are on an extended hunt, we will look for a meat locker or processer nearby if something is harvested early in the week and we don't want to risk it.
I considered making an elevated rack out of PVC tubing.
I ran across this and may give it a shot
Any clever DIY ideas out there?
