This year I decided to change it up and put aside my compound and get serious with my Recurve that for the most part just sat around collecting dust. My goal was to shoot a bear off a bait with it but never worked out so I decided I'd try for elk. Well antelope season opens 2 weeks before our elk season. Decided if I could get an antelope elk would be easy target. My wife was due right when amtelope season opened so I wasn't picky and shot the first buck that came in (I would of shot a doe too) he came in and they where real skittish and never drank and I shot him as he was walking off, right after I took a picture with him my buddy came flying up the road saying my wife was headed to the hospital luckily they sent here home and I had my antelope tag filled so I could be there with her.
