I agree 100%. Whether you always agree with all the NRA's tactics, they are our only chance of protecting us from the left's primary goal of eliminating the 2nd Amendment. I'm not a lobbyist. I have used them in my unrelated business very successfully. There are 60 million gun owners in our country blowing a lot of useless hot air about their gun rights to no effect. Only 7% belong to the NRA!!!!!!!!! The NRA is the MOST powerful lobby(not just guns) in Washington. The left as well as all politicians are petrified of them. This is why the exert all the energy to destroy their credibility. Only 4.3 Million members in the NRA, many family. If only 20-30% of gun owners were members, there would be NO discussion. What we need to do is channel any energy. We have to be fanatical about getting anyone who isn't a member to Join the NRA. If they already are, send them anything, even if it's $1. Think about how much energy we waste on bitching, or worse yet, lying low. This will eventually effect all of us. We need to focus our energy where it will make a real difference. We need to do everything possible to get everyone supporting the NRA. Sorry for the soap box, but in my view, this is our best shot at keeping our rights.
