Semi custom long range rifle built off a Winchester model 70. Built this rifle to a customer specs and after 6 months of not getting paid he stuck me with it. At this point I'm just trying to get my materials cost back (and find new friends). Rifle specs are:
Winchester Model 70 (1973 I believe) modified to single shot. I milled a 3/4" plug out of aluminum and epoxied it into the mag well after cutting a cartridge channel in the top.
H-S tactical stock with mercury recoil reducer in the butt
Bartlein straight fluted 30" heavy varmint 8 twist barrel
APA 1st generation fat bastard brake
Jewell trigger
Rifle was broke in by me and customer did some load work up with it. I doubt it's fired 50 rounds. I do recall it did very well with 225 ELDM's at or over 3200 fps and has extremely light recoil.
Also included will be a 20 moa rail, bipod and bottom rail.
UPDATE: Going to cerakote rifle in either burned bronze or vortex bronze, whichever goes best with the stock. Will post more pictures after complete.
