Down Range Acuuracy Question

Canadian Bushman, how is this so if load is measured out to the exact weight, all other loading components are the same and seating depth is also the same.

There are many theories as to what has to happen for a bullet to leave a barrel the same way at the same speed each time. I dont know or understand them but this is why people test out loads with numerous methods. With some testing and tuning one can usually find a tolerant load with good velocity spreads and accuracy. These loads will generally carry their accuracy over longer distances than a load that simply shoots good at 100 yds.

Just because a load produces good spreads doesnt mean it will be accurate, and vise versa, but both are needed for long range accuracy.
 
Barrel harmonics, neck tension variances, even same lot primers can have primers burn hotter than others can effect ES and accuracy. The key is to find the optimum charge weight that gets you in a node that is tolerant to these slight variations in your components. You can even have a bad batch of bullets wit weight variances and balance issues...
 
Vertical or horizontal? If most of the increase was vertical, that would be likely due to velocity variation. If most of the increase is horizontal, then it is probably wind related. You said no wind, but even a little can have an impact at longer range.
