I have built my first long range shooter (6.5x47L) , and have noticed that the stock does not appear to be straight. It is a laminated varmiter style and when I look down the barrel channel from the front of the rifle, the back half of the stock (from the pistol grip back) is not in line with the barrel channel. I lined a straight edge down the center of the barrel channel and the center of the butt of the stock is aprox. 1/2" off to the left. I shoot right handed. I am assuming they should all be in line. My question is : How much; if any; will this affect the accuracy of the rifle? So far the groups are very good; nice little bug holes. But I was wondering if they could be even better with a staight stock? Thanks Duane
