If you close a little more distance between you and your quarry you could kill an elk with something as small as a little Grendel, but you would be a tad more ethical with a 6.5x55. The difference between a swede and a 300win mag is really only about 100 yards. The rest is all hunter. </span></p></blockquote><p></p>
