[QUOTE="Scott E Ames, post: 1961592, member: 60439"] I have always felt like the Creedmoor was a 21st century 257 Roberts. A mid-caliber Swiss Army knife. I feel like the 25-06 and the belted magnum craze pushed the Roberts aside. Since the CM got so popular with so many cartridges both bigger and faster already around I think it will be around for a while. There are plenty of belted magnums that we’re predicted to go extinct with the newer non-belted magnums. I am old enough to remember when everyone was saying that the 7 RM and 300 WM would kill the 30-06 and 300 H&H. Hasn’t happened yet. We should look at the Creedmoor and play like it adds to our “diversity “.😄😄😄 If something comes along that pushes the CM aside l am sure I will probably get one, that’s why they make really large gun safes isn’t it?
