Maybe the idea is to appreciate the CM and the PRC for what they each bring to the table. Today the shooter/hunter can own both the CM and the PRC in a store bought rifle at a price tag that is amazingly low that will shoot right along some custom jobs for an 8th of the cost of some custom rifles. The CM vs. PRC reminds me of the 7-08 vs. 7mm Mauser or the .30-30 vs. the .308 or the 6.5x55mmSE vs. the 6.5CM. If you have one why do you need another caliber? All of these will kill an Elk, just some will do it further back. I have owned 6.5x55 SE for many years and have owned the 6.5CM now for several years now and enjoy it just like I enjoyed the.264 Win Mag and may build a PRC soon, they all are appreciated for what they each bring to the table. Why not own both? Whats not to love?
