I have an old Savage .284 lever action. It's pure hell finding shells for it. Always used and the only shells i have ever found were .284 Winchester 150gr. Can anyone tell me IF any 6.5 shells will work in it or if anyone has any ideas where I can find shells? I found 4 boxes about 20 years ago, only time I shoot the gun now is at a deer or maybe a 1 shot sight in at 1st of year of I feel nervous. Wish I could shoot it more! Down to 2 boxes. Thanks!
