SOLD/EXPIRED Decent/Cheap Rem700 S/A Stock

I'm looking for a decent Rem700 short action stock, something similar to a Bergara HMR take off for $250 or less. I just need this for an old .308 target rifle.
Prefer black or darker colors, thanks in advance.

Could you use an "older" genuine Rem 700 short action, ADL, walnut, 4 screw butte plate with a Monte Carlo comb? The fore-end is slightly wider than a sporter ADL 700 & there are no sling stud holes drilled. The bbl channel has been opened up slightly to accept a "magnum sporter" contour. There are no cracks anywhere & it has never been bedded. It could used to be re-finished but it is cheap. $100 plus shipping to you.
