Custom Remington 700 25-06 Mountain Rifle. Build by Dennis Earhardt, Frontier Gunshop, Helena MT with a couple additions by 2 other well known and talented professionals. Receiver is a Remington 700 A Prefix serial number, Blue printed. Timney trigger, New factory BDL bottom metal. Sako extractor installed in bolt. Receiver blued to matte finish. Karl Kampfeld, Kampfeld Customs, Sandpoint ID. threaded and installed his Campfire Bolt Knob. Benchmark SS 5r/9 twist barrel finished at 24". Barrel is bead blasted for matte stainless finish. McMillan Rem. 700 Mountain Rifle style stock with Pachmayr 1" Decelerator pad for a 13.5" LOP. Stock is bedded. Stock was painted by Branden Burkhardt, Custom Gun Coating, Smithville MO. Sniper Grey base color with black webbing. As new condition. Fired 10 rounds by me at my home range of 100 yards. First half dozen rounds were a favorite 25-06 handload of mine with 110 Accubonds/IMR 4831 for getting on paper. Right away group (3 shots) were <.5 MOA/Vel 3150 fps. Next shot Hammer Hunter 92gr./H4350 that were <.4 MOA/Vel 3450 fps. This is a top quality/accurate rifle that will not disappoint. Selling just to reduce my number of rifles ( now a senior citizen). $1850 to your FFL. I'll pay the shipping which is a big cost nowdays and no sales tax = $1850 Total.
