Alot of hunters tell me that until they hunt with a shorter LOP --- here in upstate NY, it gets cold in late November, every layer of clothing adds a 1/4" LOP. I look like the Michelin tire guy when I hunt because I just sit 🪑. Of course if you are way over 6 feet tall, all bets are off. Reason why I bring this up, when friends come over they like using my short rifles instead of theirs. I go through rifles like napkins at a BBQ. I knock down the price because of the short stock for their stocksmith to add length. Only to find out later, after hunting with it, they never change its length... Again if you are very tall with long arms, it will feel short . Wayne at Oregunsmith who built stock will add length.
