I just built my test ladder loads for my .223 I measured to my lands and it was 2.376, I set my bullets to be seated to 2.360 (this is the jump I have used in my other long range rifles). Everything feeds threw the magazine great and the length seems to be great as far as gun functions. But I ran inti a problem when I went to close my ammo box and the bullets are too long for the ammo box to close haha. Im shooting A-max and v-max bullets. Should I seat the bullets deeper so my stinking ammo box will close?
My main question is does the jump on a 223 need to be as close as my 300rum shooting vld's? Or should I seat the bullets deeper for this one
