Cheap ain't good, and good ain't cheap.
Look at a Manfrotto 128RC. Small, light, but still good quality. About $100-110. Worth every penny.

I would go with a FEISOL or if you want a SIRUI. I have a FEISOL and it works great and I have tried many. Its very light compare to most others, its machined aluminum instead of cast like most the cheaper ones.

A quick release clamp QRC-50 is integrated into the VH-40 head (one 50mm QP-144750 plate is included), assuring a precise fit of all FEISOL quick release plates (as well as plates of many other makes).
