Maybe better depending on what you're building and if you're using a cup and core bullet. My current 25 saum has a 7.25 twist on it, to keep rpm's down under 300k my velocity is limited to 3000 fps. A 7.5 twist takes that to 3125 fps. I'm at 2995 fps with a 135 Berger and a good 2 grains below max. Shoulda went w a 7.5 twist! A 7 twist would be about 2915fps at 300k rpm

On that note OMR usually has 7 twist blanks he can ship in a couple of weeks. No experience with them but haven't heard anything bad. Good luck w your project!
