Wanted to sell a M1917, also referred to as a P17, Pattern 17 or American Enfield. Actual formal designation for this rifle is; United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917. This rifle has been sporterized. I have had it for some time and it was purchased originally to get converted to a 458 Lott. Projects have come and gone and it's time to clean out the safe. Original bolt has had the handle modified and has some light rust. Also included is a second bolt (without extractor) that has a cock on open kit installed. Rifle is unusual insofar as the manufacturer stamp (always either Winchester, Remington or Eddystone) is not present. Instead it is simply stamped "U.S."
These are incredibly strong actions and are suitable for nearly any cartridge conversion. Rifle is solid and functions correctly.
Would like to get $250.00 shipped to your FFL
