So the velocity data is from a lab radar at muzzle. The target was set at 300 yards. Any ideas what powder ranges to explore. H1000 and 220 gr eldx. 300 win 26"barrel if that helps. Shot in a 15-20 mph wind from the 6 o'clock position. Varying from left to right a little at times. Last shot was not read

Am I missing shot 17? Edit- found it.

Hmm #10-12 look decent but so do 74.3-74.5 due to close velocity, I know that's not really what this test is designed for though.

You got some good recommendations..I sure hate load development in the wind. It's been 16mph for the past three days here & probably three more days. I'm holding off until I can at least get under 8-10mph wind.

Thanks guys. Yeah the wind is a issue but if I wait for 8-10 mph Biden may be out of office. The average wind speed here is 15 mph. And the lower speeds it's dark. So the average for shooting light is probably higher

I would load 5 of 73.8 and 5 of 75.0 and check for ES. If you can get around 10 or less of ES then play with seating depth, primers, etc of accuracy

So your looking for a forgiving spot on the velocity spreads. A spot where it groups up good and the velocity spread isnt terrible. As was mentioned 10 11 12 and 18 19 20 are probable. If your primers are flat I'd go for the lower node since the upper node will make real flat primers @ 80 degrees

Unless you are just wanting the speed. 5,6,7,8. That is probably 1/4 moa vertical. And other than #6 the fps is very tight in that range.

Is your brass sorted. Some of the odd spikes and drops in velocity could be your brass.

If you'r not near Máx charge try again charges 17 to 20.
3 rounds each charge with fireformed cases and record velocity of all rounds

I would recommend the accuracy window between shots 10 through 13 as well and would add that H1000 is notorious for having an accuracy point that is 1 tenth of a grain. so i would shoot a group of three shots at 73.4, 73.6 and 73.8 as well. For 220 grain pills that is an excellent velocity with fabulous down range accuracy.
