[QUOTE="dakor, post: 697897, member: 2204"] I have used gunslick a lot and it works well if you let it soak for a couple of hours. Most of the time I will let the rifle sit overnight and if the rifle is coppered real heavy it takes a couple of cleanings. Throw that nylon brush in the garbage they are junk. Get a bronze brush just do not pull it back through the barrel once the brush leaves the muzzle take it off pull the cleaning rod out and put it back on then run it back through. When I clean a rifle I start with a brush and do this a few times then I run a few patches with GM top Engine cleaner through the bore those two steps will get rid of your carbon. After that I will run a couple of patches with kroil oil to get rid of any GM cleaner and a couple dry patches to get the kroil out so the gunslick or other copper cleaner I decide to use that day can get to the copper.
