[QUOTE="Max Heat, post: 852363, member: 43153"] I've got a new barrel on order for my 700 (7RUM). The idea of having the outside of the chamber end of the factory take-off barrel re-finished to fit my 110 action, which currently has the factory 7RM barrel on it, just occured to me. I know that a nut would have to be added for use on the 110, but is there enough "meat" left on the 700 TO barrel to simply re-thread it to fit the 110 [non-target] action, without having to shorten it?
