I don't know "ntsqd" so this is from an observation and nothing more; and, not intended to be critical. We all need and want to be respected. Responses such as "Okay I can't help the unwilling and the stupid" shows total disrespect for another forum member's opinions. And....... we're here to get each other's opinions that's what makes this forum so great. I understand disagreeing with a post or one's thoughts, however one can disagree to disagree respectfully. When I read your post about using aluminum bedding with pillar bedding and its affects on accuracy, I said, "Wow this is something that I have to look into." Recently I had a concern about salt bath annealing and the opposing opinions on its effectiveness to anneal. These two diverse opinions gave me an incentive to do more research before I invested and time of money into salt annealing. Lastly I'd like to thank you for providing the information that you out forward about aluminum bedding and pillar bedding as I do a lot of glass bedding on my rifles.
