Yes, it will work for a 7mm mag. I bought it for anything from 7 mag to 300 win, and decided to go ahead and have it cut for a wyatts length mag. I'm the original owner, just got it a few weeks ago. I'm actually out of town until Sunday so I couldn't get pics of the bolt until then.
