Berger Bullets

Hey just curious if anyone has had a hard time when using Berger bullets in a Winchester Model 70, not being able to seat them out far enough cause of the magazine length? Like the 168 VLD any input on this?

It's not uncommon in a factory rifle when trying to use long (high BC) bullets. If you have the rifle re-barreled at some point you'll want to go with a shorter throat so you can seat into the lands and still mag feed.

I'm having the same problem with the new 150 VLD in my 270 WSM.

Here is the cure. Replace to original box magazine with an extended box magazine.
