I have a Beanland chambered 7WSM Kreiger barrel (1:9) that is 26" and has spiral flutes (done by Kampfeld Customs, threaded muzzle with knurled cap, and bead blasted finish. It is a Remington Varmint Contour.

Barrel has 283 documented rounds down it and was throated for Berger 180 VLDs. The finish is in excellent shape! Was on a Stiller Predator (700 clone) action.

Wonder how this would work in a long action? I have a Predator long action on a 28 Nosler barrel. Thinking about this as a rebarrel once the 28 is done.

Ya it should work as long as you are putting it on a rem 700 clone action, you will just want to make sure it will feed correctly in a Long Action, but that would give you plenty of room. People have run 7WSMs in a Long Action and been able to really seat that bullet out long with 180s or the 195s.

I would verify with your gunsmith as to your setup.
