Hey everyone,

I'm still looking for anyone who might be looking to sell any Badlands BD2 140 grain 277 cal bullets. I have built 2 rifles to shoot this and just after I got everything set up, poor George passed and they are no longer available. I know many other people were in a similar situation or even just had some to try different loads, but with them no longer available, maybe some people have them available for sale.

Thanks,

Josh

We are in the same situation with a couple .270 Sherman's. Unfortunately there aren't really any more 140's available, but, keep your eyes on Apex outdoors. They are going to be putting out a stage 3 design that should be a nice replacement.

I've looked pretty close at the Apex, hopefully they can find a way to increase their b.c. with the new design. Unfortunately, the last time I was looking into it, there was a vast difference in b.c. between the badlands and the Apex. Any idea of a timeframe?

Thanks for the heads up

You're correct, the stage 1 and 2 were not that appealing in bc. Not totally sure on the time frame, but the new bullet should be more comparable to the Badlands, but with better terminal performance, and more forgiveness in reloading. Hopefully before spring

Awesome, thanks. I thought I'd seen pretty great feedback as far as terminal performance. I have had good experience with 3 moose, 3 deer, 2 antelope and a cow elk. That's not a whole lot but pretty good, pretty much all of them hit bone though too.

Ya and the 27 cal is probably the biggest loser of the lineup for apex. I'd love to see them put out a 150 with a .7 or so.

it looks like they released a couple of the version 3 bullets in November.
