Another New Person

I have been reading threads here for awhile and decided to post. I live in Washington state right against the Canadian border as we speak. My wife and I will be moving to some land that we bought in central Oregon in the near future, hopefully.

I am a retired engineer and manufacturing executive. I have been hunting deer for over 50 years and shooting longer than that. I am not a sniper type shooter but have shot varmits and some game at longish ranges. I also shot some competitive pistol shooting (.45 ACP mostly) when I was in the Army, 4th Division, plus attending weapons and demolitions training from Special Forces personel in preparation for Viet Nam deployment.
