That John west salmon add was probably the funniest add I've ever seen. I hope the add agency that did that became filthy rich.

Came out in the early 2000s before the video sharing platforms. I think one of my friends from high school burned a couple of them on a CD and sent them up for us to watch. Keep in mind back then everyone that fished wore orange grundens and extra test just like the guy. Remember vividly sitting downstairs on my grandfather's old boat with my siblings waiting a set and watching those on a laptop. Grandad was a bit of a grump when fishing and didn't like loud noises. We laughed so hard when the bear does the shuffle we got yelled at, which made it all the more funny.


Not sure it hit the rest of the world as hard as it did us, but those adds made us laugh hysterically all summer.
