Im curious as to how others with more expierence look at bullet groups to determine whether to add or subtract the amount of powder in the charge. Any tips would be great as I am trying to streamline the amount of waste in the process of finding good loads.
Thanks

The most streamlined method of load development that I have been able to figure out is in this thread, post #2:

It normally takes me 40-50 rounds to find an accurate load.

There are a lot of folks out there who just skip from guess to guess without actually following any kind of methodology. As the saying goes, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile." IMO, that is why "What's yer load?" threads are so common.

Figure out a set of steps that work for you and make sense to you. Follow them. Modify and refine as needed. That's the best advice I know how to give on the subject.

amen, and remember, each rifle/bullet maker is different. work up slowly, record everything, and once you find what is the best load for that combination, repeat it with the same brass - this will give you the best baseline data for comparison.

dead on , the only way is to load and shoot keep up with each load and spread , until you get your load for your gun and bullet,(no guns are alike maybe close ) just have fun and do not get agrevated GOOD LUCK!!
