Here I have for sale an almost new Leica 1600B. Last October my hunting pack got stolen and I bought this one to replace my last one. I bought it from Camera Land and used it several times in November. The only reason I am selling is because my brother and I are getting a G7 Rangefinder. There is not a mark on this rangefinder. The furthest I have ranged with this unit is to 1845 yards. $650 TYD

g7 warrenty sucks.. had mine a little over a year.. now I have to pay to have it fixed.. got a tilt angle error code:(

That's not encouraging to hear. Thank you for the input though. I'll keep my eye out for it though. How much are they charging you?

I was just sifting through the classifieds and saw this comment. I'd like to know more as I have/had full intentions of getting one in the near future and your comment brings me concern....not to jack the thread.

Leica warranty sucks on all products. They are not good to deal with. They will however normally offer a trade up. Love the products however they could learn from Swarovski about Cust service.

Three years ago, I bought a Leica 1600. After a year, the Leica stopped ranging. I couldn't get a range on anything even 100 yards and in. I changed the battery and it still didn't help. I contacted Leica, and Carmen at Leica had me send the rangefinder back and she sent me a Leica 1600B as a replacement, no charge. I don't think any company has a lifetime warranty on rangefinders, since they are all electronic and electronics just don't seem to carry the same warranty.
