Thanks again everyone. I ordered a set of the Burris XTR Signature Rings to give them a try.(for now) Just for giggles, I ran the turret up from my zero, I have about 38 moa left to dail up. Then I ran it all the way down from my zero and got 21.250 till it bottoms out. That's 59 moa total travel. I know I don't want to dail windage at the very top or bottom. So I'm guessing that the 40moa travel advertised is to allow for windage adjustments without damage to the scopes internals. Man...I got to say...Taylorbok has this stuff figured out. Or he's been looking at my dope notes...lol I really need to get my AB calibered. It says I need 20.125 dail up at 1000yrd, really it's 18.625moa. So if I'm at 21.250 from the bottoming out, with a 1000yrd zero, I should be 2.625moa from the bottom. Leaving 56.375moa of elevation I can dail. Plus the 10ish moa of reticle at 40× for hold over, if I need it. Does this sound right?
