I woluld have bought it in a second if it would've finished at 26-28 inches.

I just weighed it on a digital postal scale I have, and it read 3lbs .05 ounces. So, just a hair over 3 pounds. Not 3.5lbs, but 3lbs and 1/2 of an ounce. Hopefully this helps.
