Are you building a 8 mag. or do you have one now? I shot one for years, still got it. I shot a 200 grain bullet, I think.

had just finish building one out of a model 70 nee to com up with 600 yard load for my cow elk hunt this fall shooting canyon to canyon.gun)

I got a load. I will look it up when I get home, then pm it to you. Nosler is making a 200 grain AB now. That would be the bullet I would use, today.

We had a chimminey fire this winter, so all my stuff is boxed up and put away.

What was the Model 70 before the build? What brand barrel, what twist, what length?
