anyone reloading with this powder. interested in 168gr bullets.i know there is a lot better powders but I have a large supply. thanks

I love imr4064 with 308 winchester.

Not real clear what 7mm cartridge you are asking about??

7mm Rm , 7mm 08 rem ....?

It will probably work well in medium cases such as 7/08, 7x57x, etc. I don't think you would like it in any of the big magnums, as it is too fast of burn rate. I use IMR4064 in 308Win and 30/30Win and it works like new money in them as well as my daughters 7/08.

If it is a 7mm Magnum the Sierra V Manual lists IMR4064 powder as their "accuracy load" with 160gr bullets.

Savage Model 116 26" barrel. 1-9 Twist
Federal Brass
Federal 215 Primer

160 SBT COAL=3.245 2800fps
160 HPBT COAL=3.230

50.9gr IMR 4064 Accuracy Load

I shot this load in several Savage 7mm Magnums and got good to great results. Shot both the 160 Sierra HPBT and the 168gr Match King.

I have a sav 110 7rm. It loves IMR7828 mag primers 150 grn etips and soft points. Try the 7828 in a large case capacity round it really works.
