Hello, offered for sale:

6.5 Sherman Short
REM 700 action
Bartlein Barrel
McMillan Game Warden
Triggertech Primary trigger
20 MOA Pic rail for scope
Athlon Cronus (optional)
Athlon rings (optional)
Dies
200 or so pieces of brass
Vault Case

I also have several hundred 147 ELD-M's we can work into the deal. Or a couple hundred 120 TTSX's……really any of the 6.5mm stuff I have which is quite a bit.

I could also part with 1-2 pounds of H1000 to get you started. We can work a deal on that. I can also throw 100 210 GMM primers in if you want to copy my load. The load was a 147 eld-m at 3,070 fps. I worked that up in 100 degree plus weather and it wasn't showing any pressure. It was shooting about half MOA.

The barreled action was put together by straight jacket armory by another member. He pulled it out of the stock he had it in and I put it in the Game Warden you see pictured. It was bedded by Phoenix custom rifles whom I have had excellent experiences with. I also had the pic rail added for scope mounting.

I have too many rifles. It's getting to be a pain in the *** keeping track of all the different calibers of brass, how many times they are fired etc. I shoot the 7's the most so I'm narrowing things down to 4 rifles. That being said, I'll probably just end up using the money to build a 25/06 ackley. For hunting, the quarter bores interest me more than the 6.5's.

The guy I bought it from said he had about 150 rounds through it. I put about 50 or so working up a load.

The things I don't like about the rifle is that it doesn't feel as natural shooting off-hand as a classic stock. It conversely feel better shooting prone and is extremely stable without being excessively heavy. It's much more a long range rifle than an all around hunting rifle. I don't know what it weighs but I will say that set up as it is, I don't find it to be excessively heavy. To me it feels very balanced.

Price for gun, brass, dies and case: $2,750.

Add scope and rings: $1,500

Bullets, primer and powder we can work out if you need it.

Also, I don't check the forum much, shoot me a text at +15209044274.

I see on my profile that it says I have no trading history. I don't know how to update that but I have actually bought three rifles on the forum. I'm sure I can dig up the profiles if you guys want a reference.

I'm already second guessing weather I want to sell it.

Thing is, I have a 7 SS in a Game Warden and I have a 300 PRC coming that will be in a Game Warden too. Things are getting a little redundant. I built it to shoot NRL hunter matches but I don't have the time and this is the rifle I shoot the least as a dedicated hunting rifle.

What I'm thinking about doing is buying a Boyd's classic hunter stock, having it bedded and throwing a VX3 on top. I bet I can get 3,400 fps out of a 123 absolute hammer. I could hold fur past 350 yards with that and it would carry beautifully. Perfect deer rifle for when I hunt in Oregon.

When I have time to get into NRL, I'll just throw it back in the game warden and go back to the ELDM load.

Unless someone buys.
