Thinking about picking up a Mesa and dropping in a McMillan Game Warden stock I've got. I like the looks and feel of the Mesa, my only concern is the 22" barrel (24" w/ break). I've read a couple old threads about velocities with shorter barrels, anyone have some fresh input. If I go this route, I will likely start load development with 124 gr Hammer hunters. Curious what kind of speed guys are getting in a 22 inch tube
Also, is it any tougher to find brass for the PRC or about the same as everything else?
