Up for grabs is a 6.5 PRC built off a Borden Alpine Magnum short action. Action was cut to accept a Wyatts baney box which would allow you to seat a 156gr Berger out to 3.100 OAL. Action also has full Nitride treatment done to it. Proof research 7.5 twist 24" carbon fiber barrel chambered with Alex Wheeler's revision 2 reamer. Threaded muzzle and brake turned to mate seamlessly to the barrel. Barreled action is pillar bedded into a JCS Composites carbon fiber stock with 2 flush cups on the left side and pic rail up front, stock weighs about 30 oz. Hawkins M5 hinged floor plate. Scoped rifle weighs in at 9 lbs. 6 oz. so that would be close to 7 lbs. bare rifle weight.

Rifle shoots extremely well pushing 156gr Berger's @ 2980 fps. Less than 50 rounds down the barrel for break in and load testing. Held under 1/2 moa @ 500 yards while shooting seating depth tests. Have also shot it out to 1200 yards to verify drops and she shoots awesome.

Looking to sell the bare rifle without the scope and rings, but could include them with the purchase for a turn-key package if the buyer wants to go that route. Load info will be provided with the purchase and I might have some components that can be purchased also. Looking to get $3500 for the rifle and can negotiate a full package deal if needed. Rifle will be cross posted, first I'll take it followed by a PM will get it.

Send me a PM for any more details and questions.

Here's a picture of groups shot at 100 yards, and also a seating depth test at 500 yards. The circles on the 500 yards target are 2" diameter for reference. All shooting was done prone off a bipod with rear bag.
