With the neck dia being so large at .302 are you simply necking down 300prc without turning? Or do you still have to turn necks?

Necked down Lapua 300 prc brass, did not turn necks.
When I ordered from Manson. I told them what I was doing and they supplied the drawing and said this was basically the standard for sizing down.
