I'm pretty partial to my 7.5" Redhawk. It has served me well for quite a while. I usually shoot the Remington 200gr SJHP for most things in the woods and haven't been disappointed. In the past decade or so however I have been pouring up cast bullets more and more. I have added the following to my arsenal, From L-R Rem SJHP 200grs MP 413-640 LGHP - 215grs NOE 412-238 - 220grs MP 41-265 LGHP - 262grs loaded for 260gr. I recently worked up some loads using some surplus magnum pistol powder with the above and got the following results at 50yds Rem - 1480fps good accuracy 413-640 - 1500fps good accuracy 412-238 1475fps good accuracy 41-265 1425fps good accuracy I still need to tweak them in a little bit but they all shot well and any could have easily been used for hunting loads. I just haven't messed around much with either the powder or the cast bullets in this one. My standard load is usually the 200gr Rem over 20.5gr of 110/296 for around 1350fps, which is very accurate and has taken quite a few hogs, a couple out to 100+/-yds and a couple of Whitetail's. ,
